EFR Instructor Course at Lanta Diver
If you are already qualified to give CPR and First Aid, then Lanta Diver offers you the opportunity to become an Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor. As an EFR Instructor, you will be qualified to teach CPR and First Aid to your own students. Being an EFR Instructor is also a prerequisite to becoming a PADI dive instructor…
The EFR Instructor course is run over one full day in our classroom in Saladan, Koh Lanta. Our experienced EFR Instructor Trainer, Richard Reardon, will deliver presentations in the morning, explaining the EFR programmes, their standards, and how to teach them. In the afternoon there will be hands-on experience demonstrating and teaching the skills from the EFR core programmes. After passing the final written exam, you will then be qualified to teach the following EFR courses: Primary Care, Secondary Care, Care For Children, and CPR & AED.
EFR Courses are not specifically diving courses and can be taught anywhere. As an EFR Instructor, you can make money teaching first aid and CPR anywhere in the world. During the course, there will be a presentation on how to market EFR programmes and how you can start earning from your new qualification.
If you plan to take your PADI IDC and become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, then you must become an EFR Instructor before PADI will place you in teaching Status. Our IDC Gold and IDC Platinum packages include the EFR Instructor Course.
